Iré poniendo aquí los cambios sufridos por el Paladín Reprensión a lo largo del tiempo. Teniendo en cuenta que creé el blog un par de semanas antes a la salida del parche 4.2, comenzaré con los cambios en dicho parche, por lo menos los que están actualmente publicados. Class changes

We also revised how Eternal Flame interacts with Holy Power, and allowed it to once again trigger Illuminated Healing. One big change for Retribution that isn't mentioned here is the removal of Inquisition (see Ability Pruning), which will have a notable effect on their rotation.

  • Eternal Flame’s periodic healing effect has been changed. Its duration now scales with Holy Power, instead of its healing. Its effect at 3 Holy Power remains unchanged.
  • Illuminated Healing can once again be triggered by Eternal Flame.

  • Avenging Wrath now also increases all of the Paladin’s healing by 20% for its duration.

We wanted to improve Seal gameplay for Protection and Retribution, so have made a few changes in that regard. Protection had three Seals, but only used Insight due to its defensive value. We’ve moved that defensive value into a passive for Protection Paladins, and expect them to primarily use a mixture of Seal of Truth and Seal of Righteousness now. To provide better gameplay between Seal of Truth and Seal of Righteousness, and effectively remove a button, we made Seal of Righteousness transform Crusader Strike into Hammer of the Righteous.

  • Seal of Righteousness now does 5% weapon damage, down from 7%. No longer causes your Crusader Strike to become Hammer of the Righteous.
  • Seal of Truth now does 12% additional weapon damage, down from 18%.

  • Exorcism - Your autoattacks have a 20% chance of resetting the cooldown of your Exorcism.
  • Judgments of the Bold now causes the enemy target to take an increased 5% physical damage for 25 sec, up from 4%.
  • Seal of Justice now causes melee attacks to deal 10% additional Holy damage, down from 15%.
  • Sword of Light now increases the healing done by Word of Glory by 60%, up from 30%.
  • Templar's Verdict now does 185% weapon damage, down from 210%.

Class Changes

We made several changes for Holy, to go along with other larger system changes to compensate for the removal of Guardian of Ancient Kings from Holy, and merged its benefits into Divine Favor. In order to follow through on our change to merge all types of Haste %, we removed the Spell Haste % from Seal of Insight to a Holy-only passive, so that it didn't also increase Protection's baseline Haste by 10%. Our changes to healer mana and mobility also indirectly increased the value of Selfless Healer by a large amount, so we brought it back down to be even in power with the other talents on its row. We also raised the range of Denounce to be consistent with other spells.

For Protection, we tweaked Eternal Flame in order to reduce its massive self-healing amount, and provide better balance between talents on that row. We also added a new passive, Shining Protector, in order to give defensive value to the new Multistrike stat.

  • Bastion of Glory no longer affects the periodic healing of Eternal Flame. It still affects the direct healing portion of the ability.
  • Shining Protector is a new passive ability for Protection Paladins.
    • Shining Protector: All heals you receive have a chance equal to your Multistrike chance to trigger Shining Protector, healing you for an additional 30% of the triggering heal.
  • Eternal Flame now deals 100% of the direct healing of Word of Glory (up from 70%), but only 50% as much periodic healing as before. Additionally, Bastion of Glory no longer affects the periodic healing.

We made a few additional changes to Paladins. We revised the functionality of Hammer of the Righteous a bit, such that its performance is about the same, but its tooltip is much clearer. We also made Stay of Execution much more attractive to use as an emergency button. One big change for Retribution that isn't mentioned here is the removal of Inquisition (see Ability Pruning), which will have a notable effect on their rotation.

For Paladins, we have a few tweaks in store. To compensate for the removal of Guardian of Ancient Kings from Holy, we merged its benefit into Divine Favor. We also raised the range of Denounce to be consistent with other spells.   • Hammer of the Righteous: Deals 20% weapon damage, down from 30%. Now also applies the Weakened Blows effect, which reduces the targets physical damage dealt by 10% for 30 sec.
  • Inquisition: Consumes a maximum of 3 Holy Power to increase Holy damage by 30%. Lasts 10 sec per charge of Holy Power, up from 4.

  • Muchas facultades de control de masas ya no hacen que las criaturas ataquen a los jugadores cuando se lanzan. La criatura no atacará al jugador cuando el control de masas deje de tener efecto y las criaturas cercanas tampoco se volverán hostiles con él. Sin embargo, si un jugador visible se acerca demasiado a la criatura objetivo, la criatura lo recordará y atacará al jugador cuando el control de masas deje de tener efecto. La idea es ponérselo más fácil a los grupos de mazmorra para gestionar el control de masas y la atracción de grupos de PNJ hostiles. Las facultades afectadas por este cambio son: Hibernar, Raíces enredadoras, Picadura de dracoleón (seguirá causando hostilidad cuando empiece a infligir daño), Trampa congelante, Polimorfia, Arrepentimiento, Encadenar no-muerto, Ceguera, Maleficio, Atar elemental, Desterrar y Seducción.
  • Ahora todas las sanaciones críticas sanan 2 veces lo que una sanación normal (+100%), en vez de 1,5 (+50%).
  • Ya no generan amenaza las facultades de clase que otorgan un beneficio a los objetivos amistosos.  Esto se aplica a beneficios de banda como Marca de lo Salvaje y Palabra de poder: entereza, así como a efectos activados como Temple bendito y Dedos de Escarcha y los beneficios de un solo objetivo como Propósito oscuro y Frenesí profano. Las excepciones son los beneficios que sanan o infligen daño directamente como Espinas o Renovar. Este tipo de facultades siguen generando amenaza normal.
